Hey there! Since I'm ill right now and I have nothing better to do, I took up Monster Hunter again. It's been a while since I posted anything PSP-related here, so here's a new video. Nothing too fancy, just a vid on how to defeat Yian Garuga and get the most out of it.The armor set (Full Tigrex) I'm using is not something you'll have when you take up the quest. But Obituary or any other fire-resistant set will do just fine. You might also consider having an earplug skill. I want to note that Black Katana MK. II is 100% available by the time you face Garuga first time. Dragonwood longsword, i think, is available as well. But any other weapon with good raw dmg andor WATER element will do just fine. Be noted - Garuga is FAST and unpredictable when he's enraged.What you basically do is kill it as you would a Yian Kut-Ku. But you may want to break both of his ears, both wings, his back, the beak and cut off the tail to get maximum rewards. If you break the wings you'll get Garuga Wings in the rewards. Broken beak will give you Sharpened Beak. Tail can be carved and might give you Garuga Tail or Garuga Scale. Broken back might give you Garuga Mane in the rewards.
